| When decorating a room, it’s important to start with something that inspires you. It could be a favourite paint color, cushion, or bedspread that you’re just dying to incorporate into your design. Use that inspiration as the basis of your design plan and let it grow from there. Things don’t necessarily always have to be so ‘matchy-matchy’, however, strive for elements in your design that are complementary in color and texture. Always be mindful of durability and wash ability for fabrics that are heavily used. |  |

| Are you felling guilty about working and spending time apart from your children? Working moms and dads have long struggled with balancing work and home life together. It’s especially hard for new parents that have since returned to the work force after starting a new family. Regardless of your child’s age or whatever your career imposes on your home life, it’s important to create a balance from the get-go. There should be dedicated working times and dedicated play times. Regardless if you work evenings, or days, or nights, it’s imperative to set aside a certain time of day to your little ones doing something the both of you can enjoy. For example, every Tuesday can be dinner and a movie night with the family, and/or the last hour before bedtime can be special bonding and relaxation time with the family for doing what the little ones want to do (providing the activity isn’t over stimulating, or else you’ll never get them to bed!). |

You can always pair these classics with the newest trends to stay current in fashion. For men, a gingham shirt, for women, feathered earrings. Some trends don’t suit everyone’s body, and you shouldn’t feel compelled to wear something that doesn’t look good on you or suit your personality just because it’s in fashion |
